Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon

Thrift store crates, faded 80s caps and a deep love for secondhand culture are where this one started. Sean Wotherspoon built his name running Round Two, a vintage shop where old Nike windbreakers and corduroy jackets lived next to beat up sneakers, and that world shaped everything about this design. When he won Nike's Air Max Day Vote Forward contest, he reached for what he knew, washed out pastels, soft textures and that feeling of finding something nobody else noticed on the rack. The result splices an Air Max 97 upper onto an Air Max 1 sole, dressed in rainbow corduroy waves that feel pulled from a thrift haul rather than a factory line.
